For any type of travel requirements & visa application, contact travel desk in the atrium.

Communication Center
The communication center located in the atrium provides STD & ISD phone services, fax and photocopy facilities.

Transport
Ambulance services are available for pick up & drop. Please contact transport department at the ground floor (near emergency). Cab services for sightseeing/pickup or drop is also available, contact cab desk in the atrium.

Housekeeping
Guest laundry service is available between 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Garden Food Court
Garden Food Court is situated near main entrance, where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served on payment. Room service is also available. A 12-hour Café Coffee Day is situated at the ground floor.

Food & Dietary Services
Dietician plans the diet based on the therapeutic needs of the patient. Local specialties, Continental and Chinese cuisines are available and any special dietary requirements will be met.

Internet facility is available between 9 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday to Saturday) for guests & visitors at main lobby in ground floor.

Corporate & TPA Helpdesk
If you are covered under listed insurance company for medical services, Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad will help you get your claim processed by your TPA. Please note that in the event of cashless authorization request being rejected by TPA, the patient will be required to settle the hospital bill and try to claim the expenses subsequently from the insurance company/TPA. INFERENCE

·         Ground floor

Circulation of emergency, services, VIP patients & various out- patient is connected from various entries.

·         Several fire staircases, fire extinguisher provided throughout the hospital.

·         The waiting area is provided at various department throughout the building.

·         Ducts are  provided throughout the building major for ventilation of the washroom.

·         AHU, electrical room and other services spaces are provided throughout the building which is over each other  for better services.

First floor

·       Circulation on upper flow is more due to space planning and also many waiting spaces are provided as OPD is provided and wards are provided which is more public in nature and has high footfall.

·       Services like AHU have changed at a few points but the electrical room and other services are provided at the  same location.

·       OPD zone is located in single wings and other three wings are provided so it before more public and doesn’t disturb as much.

·       More wash  room is provided with the ward and is located on the side of the block so easily ventilation can be done by  the duct which continues from the ground floor.

·       The double corridor is provided so the between is provided for the service room for staff.

F     Fourthfloor

           As we go to upper floor the dead load reduces and more open plans opted with light material.

·         Separate room for changing is provided for staff and doctor and circulation of operation theater is also private so the free moment can be done inside.

·         More space is provided for AHU, UPS rooms and oyher services so no problem occurs in OT and ICU.

·         Various types of ICU is provided according to need and special canteen space is provided  for staff.

·         Various area is designed only for doctor, staff where visitor can’t visit and also have isolated wards for patients which required spacelab care.

·         This plan helps in service on all side and connect all side but is an introvert plan as less exposer to outer nature is maintained.

      






Awards

      India Book of records recognized Apollo Hospitals in association with IMA WDW now holds the India Book record for “Maximum Number of People pledge for Organ Donation in One Day”. The entire team of doctors approached the students, the teachers and the members of the committee for creating awareness and pledging for Organ Donation on August 13, 2019.

Apollo hospitals have attempted a mass organ donation awarness drive across the india on the occasion of World Organ Donation day 2019. “Apollo Hospitals have been a leader in one stop healthcare solutions. In India about Two Lakh Patients waiting for Transplant and organ donation with mere 15000 donor available. Against the annual requirement of Kidney transplants ranging between 2- 3 Lakh, only around 6000 transplant occurring in reality.

Most of these transplants are Living Donor Transplants. This demand supply gap compelled India to act upon Robust Organ donation drive to promote cadaveric Transplant to save the people waiting for organs.

Apollo Hospitals Ahmedabad – Team decided to take this important social issue on priority & create a platform in association with IMA – Women Doctor Wing and Other Apollo Hospitals Unit to promote Organ Donation in the country. As a part of the same, the team took upon the challenge to target a large number of Organ Donor a ans in the process get the Highest Number of Organ Donation Pledges in a Single Day across India.

The program has already been designed with Apollo Hospitals Group PAN India as well as IMA Women Doctors wing – PAN India to support these initiatives as a ongoing process. The same had been communicated through the Reporting Matrix in the different unit of Apollo Hospitals.

As a part of this program, activities were conducted across 15 cities and 25 numbers of programs were conducted. These programs focussed on creating awareness about Organ Donation and also get the people to Pledge to Donate Organs. As a part of the campaign, 12000 pledge forms were collected across these locations.
